House Rules
To ensure a pleasant stay, please adhere to the following house rules:
Respect the Property: Kindly leave the condo in the same condition as you found it. Any damages will be assessed after your stay, and you will be responsible for covering the costs of repairs or replacements. Please report accidental damage immediately.
Furniture Care: When using the kitchen table, move it at least 4 feet away from the wall to prevent damage to the wall or chairs. The paint is delicate and can be easily scratched.
Pets: No pets or service animals are allowed on the premises
Countertop and Highchair Care: Avoid using sharp knives directly on the baby highchair tray or countertops, as these materials are soft and can be easily damaged.
Prevent Water Stains: Keep wet swimsuits, towels, and clothing off the living room couches, chairs, and beds, as water stains are difficult to remove.
Clothing Care: Do not hang towels or clothes on porch chairs or railings. Please use the laundry room or electric dryer to keep clothing fresh.
Pool Area Etiquette: Personal items should not be left at the pool area.
Noise Levels: Be considerate of other guests by keeping music levels low, especially on the balcony, to avoid disrupting others enjoying the common areas.
Bicycle Use: The bicycles in the bike room near the front guard station are for residents only and are not available for guest use due to liability concerns. If you'd like to rent bicycles, we can help you find nearby rental options.
Energy Conservation: When opening the living room sliding doors for ventilation, turn off the A/C in the kitchen and close bedroom doors. Costa Rica is an eco-friendly country, and minimizing energy consumption is important.
Laundry Instructions: Hang wet swimsuits above the laundry sink or in the bathroom shower to avoid water damage. Use the hooks in the laundry room or towel bars in the bathroom to hang wet towels, avoiding doors or glass shower doors to prevent damage to the anchors.
Garbage Disposal: Dispose of garbage in the complex garbage collection room located behind the front guard station as needed and before checking out to avoid attracting insects.
Cleaning Services: Our cleaning crew is responsible for cleaning such as dishes, bedding, towels, floors, kitchen, and bathroom. Your cooperation in keeping the condo tidy is appreciated and contributes to a positive experience for future guests. Extra cleaning services can be arranged during your stay for an additional fee. Contact our experience manager for details.
Gratuities: Tips for the support staff are welcome and greatly appreciated, as they help support the local community. Any direct gratuities to the security guards are also appreciated.
No Smoking or Open Flames: Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the premises. Open flame devices, including candles, lighters, incense, and lanterns, are not allowed.
Visitor Policy: Unauthorized visitors, including sex workers, are not allowed on the premises. Security guards will only allow entry to authorized visitors. We maintain a family-friendly environment, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring this. All guests and visitors must be added to the security roster 4 hours in advance and will be required to provide a valid photo ID.
Insect Prevention: Keep unscreened doors and windows closed to prevent insects from entering. We cannot be held responsible for any insects that enter after check-in. Do not leave food particles in the kitchen or bedrooms. Our team thoroughly cleans the property before each stay, and the condo undergoes regular fumigation.
Plumbing Restrictions: Please do not flush any paper products, including toilet paper or feminine hygiene products, down the toilet. Only bio matter is allowed due to the design of Costa Rica’s sewer system.
Laundry Precautions: Ensure all sand is rinsed off clothing before using the washing machine or dryer. You can rinse off at the outdoor shower.
Condo Rules by HOA:
Visitor Registration: All visitors and renters must sign in at their specific condo unit and present identification upon entry.
Maximum Occupancy: The condo allows a maximum of 4 occupants, including children, infants and visitors. All visitors must vacate the premises by 9 PM.
Noise and Behavior: Excessive noise, loud music, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Clothing and Equipment Storage: Clothes, towels, bicycles, household items, and sports equipment should not be hung or stored on balconies or in common areas.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the premises.
Pool Rules by HOA:
Supervision: Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times in the pool area.
Pool Hours: The pool is open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.
Glass Prohibited: Only plastic containers are allowed in or around the pool. Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
Food Restrictions: Please refrain from consuming food in or around the pool area.
Sun Loungers: Saving sun loungers is not permitted.
Pool Diapers: Younger children must wear special pool diapers while using the pool.
Personal Items: Please remove all personal items from the pool area when leaving.
Noise and Behavior: Excessive noise and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Pool Toys: Inappropriate pool toys, such as surfboards, and all inflatables are not allowed in the pool. Only personal child floatation devices are permitted.
Shower Requirement: Guests are required to shower before entering the pool. Showers are located between the backs of units 4-5 and 5-6.
Swimwear: Only appropriate swimwear is allowed in the pool. Street clothes or nudity are prohibited.
Liability Disclaimer: The condominium is not liable for any injuries or incidents that occur while using the pool or facilities. Guests use the pool and facilities at their own risk, as no lifeguard is on duty.
Security Enforcement: Security guards will patrol the grounds regularly to enforce these rules. Failure to comply may result in police involvement and fines according to condo regulations.
